About the artist
New England artist Karri Allrich is a 1976 graduate of the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC, where she studied studio painting and photography with William Christenberry and Marybeth Edelson. Post art school she has crisscrossed the country, from Cape Cod to Santa Fe, Santa Monica to the Rockies, painting, cooking and raising two sons with artist and screenwriter Steve Allrich.
Ms. Allrich's work is in private and public collections in the United States, Canada, England, and Japan. She has participated in numerous solo gallery shows, group exhibits and invitationals, and was recently commissioned to create large abstract paintings for Nordstrom, on view at select stores in the United States and Canada. She currently works from her home studio in the woods of Northeast Connecticut.
